Washington State's beauty inspires my art and photography, while offering a wealth of new ideas, people and places to portray. This is my Father's World! I've traveled much of western USA,  Eastern Europe, Austria, Hungary, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Mexico, and Panama, and Ecuador, but it's always good to come back to the Northwest's beauty.

My work with paints and drawing media ranges far and wide, working from ideas, my own photos, life, and nature. Advising a high school yearbook class opened up the wide fields of photography, graphic design and Adobe's CS Suite. So many opportunities await, and time flies too fast.

Now living in Ecuador part of the year offers new content for my art. We love the people, beach, food, weather, and city. Meeting new friends, learning the language, enjoying the expat community, and seeing the sights occupies my time.

I even opened an art gallery here, Manta Galeria de Arte, to show and sell my art, the art of other local artists, and offer classes in drawing and painting in the  studio space attached. I had to close it after the earthquake.
